THE country’s second mobile entrant, Bmobile/Vodafone in partnership with the popular stationary supplier Ausmart has officially opened a new phone booth at the Ausmart’s Town Ground branch on Tuesday.
It was the first booth to be launched in Honiara by Bmobile, as part of its expansion in serving the country, especially Honiara through telecommunication.
Speaking at the opening yesterday, Bmobile/Vodafone’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Niall Downey said, that what they are trying to do is to make all their top offered products accessible.
“The reason why we are creating partnership is that, we want to want to create accessibility to our customers.
“This will ease the top up service and the purchase of our products.
“With that, you don’t have to come into our store, you can come anywhere,” Mr Downey said.
He added that it is a very exciting time for Bmobile/Vodafone and assures their customers that they will be bringing in new products and promotions in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Ausmart’s owner and person in charge, Mrs Matrina Koata said, that she went into partnership with Bmobile/Vodafone to ease communication for all.
“Reason why I support Bmobile/Vodafone is to ease communication in the business world as well as the general public.
“The function of communication is to drive the economy in the commercial trade activities,” Mrs Koata added.
Meanwhile, the Bmobile/Vodafone’s CEO also announced major improvements to its telecommunication and internet services for the country in the coming months.
