Bmobile-Vodafone last night hands over the $15,000 cash prize at their head office to the deserving winners of the dance competition called – Inmates.
Their video clip had the most likes with over 1,300 on the bmobile-Vodafone Facebook page www.facebook.com/bmobile.vodafone.solomons.
There was over 40,000 views in total for the nine dance acts who uploaded their videos onto the page, with over 10,000 likes from our Facebook users.
The bmobile-Vodafone page now has close to 5,000 followers. Bmobile-Vodafone would like to thank the nine acts who had the courage to upload their videos and demonstrate their creativity and dedication this this modern culture.
The winners video clearly demonstrated the creativity that is available within the Solomons. There is a huge talent pool that needs avenues to demonstrate their visual skills in production. The winning clip would not have been out of place running on MTV.
The inmates crew has over 15 members who all practice together for hours every day to ensure they get better everyday.
The $15,000 will now help them to develop their act and help buy new customs and uniforms to take them to next level as their ambition is to display their dance moves and compete overseas.
This competition was voted completely democratically and hosted over the inter-net. Bmobile-Vodafone will continue with Facebook promotions.
On April 1st a Mother day promotion starts where their Facebook users can in-box a 30 clip telling us why their mum is the best in the Solomon’s.
This can be done by music, rap or poetry. Bmobile-Vodafone have doubled their data users in the last six months and are committed to improving their data services for the coming months to ensure that the preferred network of choice within the Solomons.
