Band South Pacific (BSP) has opened its 19th ATM in the country at the Family Market Pharmacy at Central Market, the country busiest and biggest market, Friday.
The 5,000 odd vendors and thousands of shoppers will no longer travel far and spend time and money but conveniently get cash from the ATM for shopping and other needs.
ATM banking is also cheaper for the customer, instead of visiting a branch to transact over the counter.
Market Vendors present to witness the occasion expressed gratitude and praised for BSP in delivering this crucial and convenient service at their doorstep.
“We are very grateful to BSP for bringing banking to our doorstep. Not only will it service the 5,000 odd market vendors and the general public, staff of Frangipani Ice, Bulk Shop and the Family Market Pharmacy will not need to go afar to access funds,” said Tele Bartlett, Director of Bulk Shop.
BSP’s Manager Retail Banking Services, Tupou Halofaki when launching the ATM, reaffirmed BSP’s commitment in providing convenient banking services to all BSP clients, reinstating BSP’s position as the leading financial services provider, with the largest network in the Solomon Islands.
She thanked Mrs Bartlett when commissioning the ATM today at her Family Market Pharmacy.
Mrs Halofaki also reiterated BSP’s commitment to the wider community.
“BSP is not only committed to providing banking services but also deliver worthy community initiatives and projects like Go Green Clean –Up campaign which will be rolled out in the Solomon’s on Saturday and Sunday the 1st and 2nd of November, 2014 with our theme of “ Our Green City”.
