BULK SHOP is promoting local artists through an artwork integration initiative.

In a statement, Bulk shop Human Resources Manager (HR) David Upwe expressed enthusiasm about the new direction, stating that the company has unveiled a policy aimed at showcasing the artwork of talent local creators in its range of manufactured products.

He said the collaboration with local artists signifies the beginning of a series of partnerships for Bulk Shop and local artists.
“We are thrilled to kick off this venture with the talented artist Jackson Diosi, whose captivating artwork now adorns our line of reusable bags. This collaboration holds particular significance following the recent implementation of a plastic bag ban in our county, underscoring our unwavering commitment to sustainability and community engagement. The initial artwork featured in this collaboration pays tribute to the remarkable women in our society,” Mr Upwe said.
Diosi expressed his appreciation for the partnership and highlighted its dual impact in raising awareness of his artistry and ensuring financial support.
The Bulk shop statement said the collaboration with Jackson Diosi represents just the start of the company’s journey to support artists and traditional weavers through our product offerings.
The statement said the purchase of one of these products from Bulk Shop means contributing to sustaining local talents and safeguarding some cultural heritages and creating a tangible difference in the lives of these creative individuals.
It said by blending artistic expression with practicality, Bulk Shop will continue to provide environmentally conscious products, while uplifting the local art community.
In the statement, Bulk Shop also called for the public to join them in championing artistry and its sustainability as they embark on this inspiring journey together.
