A LOCAL grocery store in the country, Bulk Shop Company Limited has provided market avenue for taro farmers in Malaita Province.
This after the company bought the products from them and sold them in their shops at in Honiara locating at Central Business District, Rove and King George Six.
Bulk Shop pursued the idea to support local farmers after they struggled to sell their products in the markets.
However, the products must be packaged with label and barcode.
According to a statement from the company, the initiative is likely to extend to other farmers in the country who wish to sell their products to them.
