Dear Editor – Allow me space to appreciate the work on newly constructed bridge at Burns Creek in East Honiara
As a resident of Burnscreek community, I am pleased to see the construction of a high class permanent bridge that would link people of Burns Creek on daily business activities.
Firstly I would like to thank the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development (MID)for the immediate recognition of the need of people of Burn Ccreek and public road users in the country.
And also for the TTC contractor for the outstanding work performance on the new bridge.
As a citizen of this country I strongly support how local company perform their work especially on our roads and bridges.
They show a very good work performance.
Therefore I would like to call on the government responsible authority, Ministry of Infrastructure to prioritise our local road and bridge constructors.
And I believe that this will help grow our local companies to expand to domestic and international duties.
With these it will also create job opportunities for people in Solomon Islands.
