CABOOLTURE Sports Football Club (CSFC) described the game with our country’s National Football team (Solomon Bonito) as “unbelievable”.
In a statement over the weekend, CSFC said to have Solomon Bonito team play against CSFC while preparing for the World Cup qualifiers was unbelievable.
It said the support from Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) fans was spectacular, cheering, singing, waving flags and having time in great numbers was memorable.
“Another great memory made in our own backyard,” the statement said.
Solomon Bonito went down to CSFC 2-1 during a friendly match on Saturday night.
This was our national football team’s second friendly match since arriving in Brisbane, Australia on their way to Qatar for the World Cup qualifiers.
Their first friendly match was against Brisbane Roars.
CSFC wished Solomon Bonito all the best in the World Cup qualifiers.
“Good luck to SIFF in their qualifiers.
“Go Solo Go,” the statement said.
