TULAGI Provincial Police Commander (PPC), Fred Satu has appealed to people of Central province to cast their ballot papers peacefully in today’s provincial election.
Mr. Satu said people must behave like how they performed in last month’s national general election.
He said his officers will be patrolling around the communities and polling stations today until the end of counting.
“My officers will not tolerate any unwanted issues that may happen during election and counting period,” Mr. Satu explained.
He said it is important for people to respect his officers, law and order.
Those who will be involved in illegal selling of alcohol will be prosecuted.
