THE huge turnout by Malaitans to welcome Premier Daniel Suidani on Monday in Auki shows that the people of Malaita are strong supporters of the current MARA government leadership and policy.
Speaking to Solomon Star Auki Heedy Brian Wanealafa said the huge turnout speaks for itself and calls on the nine Members of Parliament (MPs) representing Malaita who are with the DCGA government to work together with Premier Suidani and the MARA government to deliver needed development in Malaita.
Mr. Wanealafa also calls on those MPAs who recently resigned from MARA government to reconcile and work together with MARA as the USAID SCALE program is now in Malaita.
He claimed DCGA is using those nine Malaita MPs with the national government and said there is no secret that those nine MPs are working closely with the resigned MPAs to try to topple the MARA government with a selfish intention to topple Premier Suidani.
With that, he said it is high time that Malaitans should work together putting the interest of the people of Malaita first as one people.
He said according to this observation, the divide and rule tactic is now being used against Malaita leaders without their knowledge and urged Malaita leaders to wake up and realize the truth before it’s too late.
