Dear Editor – I as a parent and resident of White River Community on behalf of all the parents strongly call on the school board of management and school administration of White River Community High School to urgently hold a PTA General Meeting to present to us all the parents the following agendas:
1. School Budget for 2016
2. Financial Report of Revenue and Expenditure for 2015
3. New Board Members Election
4. Primary Division Budget 2016
5. Revenue and Expenditure for 2015, for primary 2015
This call is urgent for the PTA Meeting because no PTA meeting was held for last two years in White River Community High School and all the parents of the school are in total in darkness of what is going on with the school affairs.
In addition, the parents of the school questioned why only one province took up the principal’s post, the deputy principal’s post, school chairman, security officer and number of teachers in Primary Division and Pre–Class and secondary posts.
If the board and administration fail to call a PTA meeting, the parents will petition the Honiara City Council Education Division for action for the urgent PTA meeting of the school for 2016.
