POOR road condition in parts of West Honiara has forced many vehicle owners and commuters to call on responsible authorities and road contractors to consider fixing the road soon.
For many weeks after the recent cyclone Pam, the road section between Town ground down to White River had never been fixed.
Following the heavy rain, many pot holes have dotted several sections of the roads.
The notable area is between Tropicana Motel and the Bishop Dale area.
One of the commuters Jon Ravai said, this section of the road is getting bad as the days go by.
He also suggested that the some of the trees along the road should be chopped because that’s the main cause of the potholes.
Mr Ravai said, the contractor tasked for the West Honiara road should do something.
‘The poor road condition is also affecting transport owners and services.”
