Chiefs in North West Guadalcanal, Saghalu ward has called on the Catholic Arch Diocese of Honiara to give allow donors to develop health centres in Visale mission station.
Speaking on behalf of the chief’s, elderly chief Joseph Kokobi said, they want the Church to work together with donors, communities and interested to improve health centre in Visale.
This was after they believed that many aid donors are eyeing Visale mission station as one of suitable site for development.
“We want the church and communities to recognise the need of continue development by allowing interested donors for assistance,” he said.
He said, people in the area need a bigger health centre which can serve the people.
“So its important for the Church to allow a land for the health centre to be built.”
Its understood Korea is ready to support the construction of a new health area centre in Visale.
Meanwhile the community leaders and chief of North West Guadalcanal acknowledged the church for its supports in developing Visale since its arrival back in early days.
It understood that visale clinic is located on the land own by the Catholic mission in Solomon Island.
Visale clinic service thousands of people living in and around the North West Guadalcanal.
