Former retired Police officer, Henry Kauhui appeals to chiefs to sort out land issues surrounding the Police post at Atoifi, east Kwaio.
Kauhui made the appeal after land dispute threatens to relocate the police post to another location.
He said the police post is important to serve the people in east Kwaio and communities closer to Fataleka and east Are Are.
“As we know illegal sale of alcohol like kwaso and marijuana are high in the areas,” Kauhui said.
“Therefore, I want the police post to remain in the area,” Kahui, who is also part Kwaio, said.
Furthermore, Kahui wishes to commend the work of police at Atori and Atoifi, saying officers there are cracking down on the sale of kwaso and marijuana.
