The Central Provincial Premier Selwyn Mapuli says his Government will put into effect annual appropriation of funds from fiscal year 2016-2017 to cater for the design of Centralโs State constitution-making.
This is in anticipation of the proposed Federal system.
He made this remarks while officially closing the awareness program of the 2nd 2014 Draft Federal Constitution in Tulagi, Central province last week.
The Premier thanked the Constitutional Reform Unitโs technical team for the clear presentations, simplifying the document for their inputs.
He also added that matters of such nature calls on the people of Central Province and the Government of the day to seriously address the prerequisites as required from each province.
Participants in the Awareness included Members of the Provincial Government; chiefs; legal persons, and government officers from Central Province; women, youth and church leaders.The awareness program was hosted in Tulagi from Monday 27th till Friday 31st July 2015.
