CENTRAL Kwara’ae Ward 2 developments committee has been form to implement the ward development ideas.
Assembly Member for ward 2 Benjamin Baetalua acknowledged the appointment of his Ward Development Committee (WDC) for voluntarily taking up the task.
He explained the ward development committee will be responsible for the implementation of the development program in ward 2 through ward grants allocation.
This means that MPA will no longer have access to the ward grant.
Mr Baetalua believes and hopes that the new ward committee will work according to aim and objectives to serve communities in ward 2.
This will be first time for wards in Malaita province to have such a ward working committee that will responsible to use the ward grants for service delivery to communities.
Ward 2 is located in Central Kwara’ae constituency.
Its understood most of wards in Malaita province have already formed their ward development committees.
The ward 2 development committee executive members are;
