The Mayor Wilson Mamae and the Executive of the Honiara City Council have passed a resolution to allow the Honiara Central market to open it’s services for 7 days a week.
This means the Central market will open during it’s normal official hours, Monday to Sunday from 6am to 6pm.
This is to allow the general public to have access to fresh market produces at any given time of the week.
Also this would help the market vendors to have access to sell their products throughout the week.
The HCC Management urged all market vendors to come forward and make use of this opportunity.
The market vendors and the general public are also asked to take good care of the market facilities and properties to enjoy the services provided.
The opening will be effective as of this Sunday 28th July 2019.
