SOLOMON Islands Chamber of Commerce (SICCI) last Friday launched its redesigned website after much input into the restructuring of the organisation.
The redesigning sees a stronger promotion, responsiveness to any application on mobile or tablet and integration of social network to name a few.
SICCI board chairman Tony Koraua said the achievement is another milestone for the chamber, its members, partners and stakeholders.
He said from where SICCI have emerged, the key challenge of having an accessible with efficient information avenue to share has been a setback.
“Where to get the information and the right information has been a challenge; now we have achieved that.”
Mr Koraua said the redesigned website is built in such a way that suites everyone, easy navigation, is adaptable and is more like a web application than just a website.
Chamber CEO Jerry Tengemoana expressed SICCI’s delightfulness on their redesigned website and hopes it helps to better inform its partners and stakeholders with ease of access.
Mr Tengemoana said the achievement could have not come this far without the tireless efforts of the hardworking board and staff of SICCI.
“Thanks to the SICCI board for being flexible at times despite pressing time issues on schedules and so forth.”
Web designer, George Dennis explained that the redesigned SICCI website is built to ease promotions and efficiency and to suite today’s world of technology.
