Since Chevening scholarships were introduced in 1983, there are approximately 50 Chevening alumni members in Solomon Islands, who are part of the more than 50,000 alumni members globally.
Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office of the UK Government, Chevening Scholarships offer applicants a wide range of study programmes to choose from. It is a programme that enable outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue one-year master’s degrees in the UK. Whilst there is no ‘typical’ Chevening Scholar, we are looking for the kind of people who have the passion, ideas, and influence to provide the solutions and leadership needed to create a better future.
