THE public has donated over $118,000 to Christian Care Centre through the donation boxes placed in the eight Bulk Shop stores in Honiara.
A statement from Bulk Shop said after a successful partnership between Bulk Shop and Christian Care Centre a total of $118,635.70 was raised through the donation boxes placed in the eight stores throughout 2021 and 2022.
The statement said this was a first of its kind.
“We are incredibly grateful to our customers and staff for contributing towards this monumental total – showing just how generous Solomon Islanders can be.
“The power of giving is alive and part of all our provinces cultures,” Mr Adam Bartlett from Bulk Shop said.
“Today, the gift of Christmas generosity was expressed through the final donation for 2022 from our customers.
“This act of support is deeply appreciated and we thank everyone who contributed to this meaningful gesture.
“May your families be blessed during the holiday season and may you enjoy an incredibly joyous New Year 2023!”
