CHRISTIANS in Malaita Province have joined the rest of the country and the world in celebrating the 2022 Easter Good Friday with religious activities.

Despite the covid-19 situation in the province, people have congregated in numbers in their respective churches to observe Jesus’ crucifixion story.
While some churches observed the Jesus crucifixion story in quiet sermons, some churches put on attractive dramas keeping the 2000 years old crucifixion story alive.
Lilisiana community near Auki town is one of many communities in Malaita that display the crucifixion story on Good Friday with an inspiring demonstration through drama.
This paper was informed that certain Christian denominations since Thursday this week have gathered at their respective centres to celebrate Easter with religious activities which will be concluded tomorrow.
For Malaita Province, this weekend will be a very busy weekend filled with more Religious activities.
