THE New Apostolic church has successfully completed its one week district ministry leader’s seminar meeting yesterday.
About twelve participants took part in the seminar representing sixty two Apostolic churches in Honiara and around the provinces.
Main agendas being discussed during the seminar are; planning&designing future and pastoral of the new apostolic churches in Solomon Island.
During closing of the seminar head of the Apostolic church in the country district elder Bonala Samson Deve said: “It is our great concern today that we as church leaders must learn to support youths and Sunday schools in our churches in designing their lives and future in our country.”
Mr Deve also said that Apostolic church purpose is to work with the government for peace in the country and every church leader must carry God’s like leadership so that peace will remain.
An evangelist of northern region Lau Lagoon Jimmy Tuita who also participated in the seminar said their aim is to baptise people and support them spiritually, physically and socially.
He said they were really blessed following the one week seminar and hope that after this training each elder and priest will go back to their respective churches and share their work plan for this year.
The new Apostolic church in Solomon Islands has expressed their thanks to Member of Parliament for West Honiara Namson Tran for his assistance towards the one week seminar.
