MALAITA provincial health promotion department in Auki says it is looking to partner with churches to disseminate live saving health messages.
The Malaita health promotion officer Selwyn Warito confirmed this to this paper yesterday.
Mr. Warito said churches are one of the most attended places which always attracted huge numbers of people.
Because of that he said, it would be great to partner with churches to share the vital health information that would save lives.
“Church goers always pray for good health and it is time that the health promotion department make good use of churches to directly involve in dessiminating of the key health messages to the people using churches as they have the upper hand in attracting more people and influence.”
He believes that by using churches it will help disseminate accurate health life saving message information to the mass in a timely manner which will help save lives.
