THE Central Kwara’ae Constituency (CKC) Office has rolled out its first batch of projects for local churches in the electorate as of last week.
A total of six churches have received support under the constituency’s Church Grant Project made possible by tax-payers.
Some of the churches benefiting from the initiative are:
- Kwaimela (Church Building Project)
- Aisiko (Church Building Project)
- Kiluusakwalo Prayer Centre (Musical Instrument Project)
- Tihillah, Ward 2 (Water Tank)
- Kiluusakwalo Adailiua Zone (Water Tank)
- Gwaisususu (Church Building Project)
Materials for these projects have been delivered to the respective community leaders, with Constituency Project Officer Sam Ilimanu overseeing the distribution process to ensure its success.
Recipients have expressed their gratitude for the timely delivery, with many thanking the constituency for recognising the needs of their communities.
A community elder from Kwaimela, Hendry Ilitoona praised the constituency office for its support.
“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Honourable Ricky Fuoo and his Constituency Office for providing us with the much-needed materials for our church building.
“This support will greatly benefit our community’s spiritual and social activities,” Mr Ilito’ona said.
The Central Kwara’ae Constituency Office in Auki will be opened this week to assist constituents with information about ongoing and upcoming projects.
Community members have been encouraged to visit the office for more details on current and future projects, as well as to share any concerns or suggestions.
It is understood that other constituencies in Malaita Province have been delivering projects to their areas since last week.
