Dear Editor – Earlier this year I raised number of concerns in this column regarding the water problem at White River school and the unprofessional attitude of some of the staff.
Despite my numerous call, nothing much took shape in the school to address the issues raised.
Last week, the school power supply was disconnected and a staff member was almost killed to death by another staff during official working hours.
The situation at the school is unfriendly due to negligence by relevant authorities to address pressing issues.
Today, the water problem still remains unsolved, now power cut and a staff sustained serious bodily harm from another staff.
Calls made after the other for Board and PTA meetings yet none till now.
No time to save face, truth must be revealed.
With the water and power problem at the school plus the poor work relationship, the needed quality education will not be delivered; therefore the only option left is to close the school.
