DEAR EDITOR – I had the misfortune to travel the West Kola’a road on Monday and Tuesday.
It would appear cigarette, betel nut and ring cake sales are exempt from the ban.
Also the roadside [not private land] temporary canteens are exempt, the further I went along West Kola’a the more I’ve seen.
Also I had to hand over $10 to the so-called road repair gangs, I am told this is a regular demand placed on drivers, I thought it was illegal.
Also the illegal speed bumps, the potholes are bad enough.
