LONDON Community Gospel Choir will be joining choirs in Honiara at a free combined church choir concert to be held this evening at Saint Barnabas Cathedral.
The visiting gospel choir will join choirs from Solomon Islands Christian Association (SICA) and Solomon Islands Full Gospel Association (SIFGA).
A statement from British High Commission in Honiara said this will be the first-ever combined church choir to perform at St Barnabas Cathedral in Honiara.
“Our guests from the London Community Gospel Choir are so excited to be in Solomon Islands for the first time and they’ve been out and about, talking to church leaders and journalists and interviewed on camera as well,” the statement said.
It said the London Community Gospel Choir looked forward to singing with local singers attending the combined church choir this evening.
The choir concert will start at 7pm.
It is a free event and all are welcome.
