THE elderly, widows and disable people of Gegede community in East Central Guadalcanal became recipients of solar panels thanks to their Member of Parliament (MP).
Reports said, Pastor Kuki on behalf of the old people, widows, and disable people of Gegede community have expressed sincere appreciation and thanks to Ishmael for the timely assistance.
He said this is the first time and the first MP who assisted his community with such needed equipment.
“The solar panel will help his people at night and help them reduce costs for kerosene.
“Those who did not receive any now will receive their later according to constituency plan of action.”
Reports said, most of the beneficiaries have never owned a solar lighting system for many years and this latest presentation comes as a relief.
