COMPANY Haus may have defied a High Court Interim Order by removing Levers Solomon Ltd (LSL) from its register.
An investigation by Solomon Star has established that LSL name was removed from the registry on 8th August this year.
When asked why, Company Haus said “It’s just because they have never register(ed) with Foreign Investment. They have foreigners in their registration but did not register with us.”
The Company appealed the decision and won.
Company Haus said it is aware of the High Court interim order, but said the removal was a Foreign Investment issue and resulted from the cancellation of International Comtrade name from Company Haus register.
LSL appealed the decision in May 2020
High Court Judge Justice Terence Higgins slapped an interim staying order on the International Comtrade and Shipping (SI) Ltd v Attorney General case. The Attorney General represented the Foreign Investment Facilitation Committee and the Registrar of Foreign Investment in the case decided on 18th June 2020.
