Suva (Fiji Times) – AFTER six years as a mobile telecommunications provider in the country, Digicel Fiji says one of its greatest achievements has been the level of competition it has brought to Fiji.
CEO Darren McLean said Fiji had been and continued to be Digicel’s most competitive market in the Pacific.
“Digicel is in six markets in the Pacific — Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa and Nauru and the rates people pay for calls and text messages in the Fiji market is rock bottom,” he said.
“We have been very happy with the progress we’ve made in last six and a half years.
“Fiji’s a strategic investment for Digicel and we’ve made a concerted effort to focus on three key areas — service, network and value,” he said.
