Dear Editor – I for one would like to come out from the silent supporters of the Real Kakamora players and express my joy and acknowledgment to the Real Kakamora officials and players.
I must honest to say here that Real Kakamora team give Makira a very previous gift of pride for their outstanding performance by winning every match in their pools in this Solomon game.
Your winning boys depends very much on your commitment and discipline in your games. Congratulations to you boys for your outstanding performance.
May I recommend Real Kakamora as a small Portugal in this Solomon game 2016.
May I call on the Solomon Game organizers to earmark some of the key players coming out from the provinces to perform in this Solomon game to improve their talents in soccer in near future.
I guess the organizers have seen for yourselves that we in the provinces had some hideouts CMS Ronaldo in our remote corners from Temotu to Choiseul provinces.
I also would like to make a call to the sport authorities in the Makira province to pay more support in terms of finance to further develop sports in the province.
There should be enough funds in place to develop every single sport we have had.
On that same note my I call on the sport authorities in the province to recognise the local sport clubs and individuals who have spent all their personal money and effort to develop sports in their rural areas.
Without the local clubs the province would unable to find best players to represent Makira in this Solomon game.
In my own opinion, there should be in place in the provincial budget funds that would gather for the sport clubs to apply to finance their sport activities in their respective areas in terms of sport equipment, uniforms, sport field improvement, coaching and referees clinics, sport prizes and any related costs to sport development.
The local clubs and individuals have played a very important role in sport development in the rural areas but fail to be recognized by the authorities.
I hope out of the results of the Real Kakamora in this Solomon games will help individuals, local sport clubs and the sport authorities in the province to work together for further achievement in terms of sports.
Finally, glory comes after pain, God bless Real Kakamora.
