Dear Editor – Thank you for allowing me to congratulate the Republic of China Taiwan, their ambassador and workers here on the election of their first female president.
The new female president replaces president Ma Ying Jeou. Normally a new government comes with some changes in approaches and policies, so whatever changes there are that will be coming; we hope it will not affect ROC’s programs in the Solomon Islands.
The relationship of the two countries is cordial and solid therefore it will be an interesting news to look out for in the coming days. Otherwise, congratulations Taiwan and Xie, xie!
