Coral Sea Resort officially opens with colourful events featuring four international musicians on Saturday night and Sunday.
Featuring on the massive grand opening were Craig David, Conkarah, DJ Tuff Tumas and Sammielz.
Adding to the show are local musicians and dancing groups, Jahboy, Rebelle Riddim Band, Small Jam, Jeeno, Papa and Avaiki, NYS Dance Group, Unique and Outcast dance crew, DJ Edge feat and DJ Drop.
The resort was officially opened by Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare attended by government officials and hundreds of VIP guests.
Mr Sogavare commended the owner of Coral Sea Resort for investing into the multi-million projects and having trust in the Solomon Islands economy.
He said, the opening of the resort is the first part of the project that added new look to Honiara city.
“In one year the resort will be different with high hotel accommodations.”
The opening events concluded with a massive public concert at the resort park.
Hundreds of families and children turned up for the public concert to enjoy the day yesterday.
It was a great entertainment for those who turned up who keep their feet dancing along when the international musicians performed on the stage.
The concert was lively wrapped up by British international artist Craig David with his medley DJ’s songs that hit the country.
