Three hundred new applicants for the Auki Correctional Center (ACC) sat for their physical test on Thursday in Auki, Malaita Province.
The physical test is a compulsory test that all new applicants who wish to be recruited into the Correctional Service must undergo before they can be shortlisted for interview.
The applicants will sit for a test on Saturday 27th of July as part of the recruitment process before the shortlisted candidates can undergo interview.
After the interview, potential candidates who passed the necessary tests will be recruited into the Correctional Service.
Both male and female applicants were seen doing the physical test at the Auki field on Thursday morning in the presence of the recruitment officers.
