Counting of votes for Central Makira and Ulawa Ugi Constituencies got to a late start yesterday at 2pm.
Counting took place at two counting centres namely the Makira Provincial conference room and the Magistrate courthouse.
Results are expected to be announced today.
Yesterday supporters of candidates packed the counting venues for results despite the wet weather.
Electoral Manager Gilbert Tabihau said the provisional results for the two constituencies are expected to be announced by this morning.
For Ulawa Ugi Constituency, one ballot paper was rejected as the voter marked two candidates.
Counting for East and West Makira Constituencies will start tomorrow.
