INTERNATIONAL multi-platinum artist and United Kingdom R&B Sensation Craig David has arrived in Honiara yesterday ahead of the grand opening of the Coral Sea Resort and Casino this weekend.
The Solomon Star understands that, he will be the headline on both launch events performing his world-re-owned TS5 show.
On arrival at the Henderson terminal, he was garlanded and then met a few of the organizers and sponsors before heading straight to his waiting vehicle.
Craig was being escorted under tight security from the terminal to his home for the next couple of days, the Heritage Park Hotel.
A small group of locals are also waiting to take a glimpse of the UK R&B superstar with their cameras and mobile phones to take photos and videos of his arrival here.
The arrival of Craig David now brings the total number of international artists that will be coming for the grand opening to three.
The first artist to be here was DJ Tuff Tumas from Vanuatu, Crowd pleaser Conkarah all the way from Jamaica, and now Craig, who has just arrived on Wednesday.
One more artist from New Zealand, Sammielz who has just been added to the line-up is expected to be in Honiara on Friday.
Sammielz will also be part of the two days event, bringing his sweet and melodious “Let us be” song into the Hapi Isles in what most people described as the show or event of the year in the country’s calendar.
