HONIARA streets will today busy again with visitors as MV Caledonian Sky makes it to shore.
Caledonian Sky comes from the United Kingdom and carries another good number of tourists according to Destination Solo Travel and Tours managing director Wilson Maelaua.
Mr Maelaua said the boat will land at around 8am, the second to arrive less than two weeks after MV Europa left.
“The cruise ship is already in Vanikoro, Temotu Province and will make her voyage to Honiara early on today morning.
“The tourist will spend the whole day in Honiara before heading to Telina, Marovo Lagoon and then to Papua New Guinea.”
Mr Maelaua said the public are again urged to show Solomon Islands hospitality to the visitors.
“As we know, our first impression will make them feel at home, so smile and greet them warmly on the streets.
“They will take back whatever memory of the Solomons they encounter.”
He said Solomon Islanders must learn to accept visitors and mingle with them.
“Tourism is this country’s future economical industry, so let us help make it thrive.”
Meanwhile Mr Maelaua also thanked the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) for providing security during the arrival of MV Europa which visited Honiara last week.
MV Europa was the first tourist boat to arrive this year. Her visit was described as successful.
