THE PNG Darts Federation is now preparing to host its inaugural National Club championships to be staged from June 6-9 in Lae, Morobe province.
President of PNGDF Nigel Kiaka said every association must submit their expression of interest to the national darts federation.
Kiaka said each club or team wishing to take part must come up with an official letter from their association stating or confirming that they are a minor premier or premier team, or runners up, in which case an explanation for non-attending of the minor premier or premier team must be stated.
He stated that the registration form that must be submitted by June 5.
PNGDF stressed that defunct members of the PNG Darts Federation are not eligible to participate.
Defunct members are the existing associations that did not affiliate before the due date, or are suspended, or are banned.
Any player currently playing in such associations is also not eligible to participate.
PNG Dart Federation clearly stated that a nomination or master team sheet will be issued before the game, and to be completed in full and submitted before a team starts playing.
Any irregularities in the master sheet or deviation to the team line up during any one game will incur severe penalty.
A player hire system is in place, allowing maximum of two players from another registered club within the same association.
The hired player must be formally released by his/her local club executive to participate with the hiring club.
