DATES for the Tri-nations FIFA international friendlies between Fiji, Solomon Islands and Hong Kong China has been confirmed.
All matches will be played at Suva and Lautoka in Fiji.
The matches will be played from September 2 to 8.
According to the schedule Solomon Islands will take on Fiji on Monday 2nd September in Suva.
Then on Thursday, 5th September, Solomon Islands will take on Hong Kong China again in Suva.
The final match between Fiji and Hong Kong China will be played at Lautoka on Sunday, 8th September.
The friendlies are important for Fiji and Solomon Islands to prepare for the World Cup qualifier in October.
In March this year, Solomon Islands hosted Fiji in a two leg friendly series which was won by Fiji.
With only two weeks remaining before the international friendlies Solomon Islands is yet to announce its new head coach.
Solomon Islands was without a coach since Felipe Vega-Arango left in June this year.
He is now being appointed the head coach for Papua New Guinea (PNG).
