DAWN FC has named its 15-member squad for the SIFF super Futsal League which will kick-off tomorrow at the Friendship Hall multipurpose court.
This final squad consists of the club’s players from the last season and the only addition is veteran, James Egeta, who will be joining the team sometimes during the season.
A statement from DAWN FC announcing the inclusion of Egeta said:
“It’s confirmed that the Veteran James Egeta will be joining us sometimes during this season. James is not new to the team as he was our captain from 2010-2013 when we were still playing under the names KC Ambassador before he moved to Australia for studies.
“We are happy to have him back for this season and for the 2023 campaign prepping towards the Oceania world cup qualifier.
“We will begin our campaign this weekend against Wechon FC. So, here is our final 15 men squad: Junior Maefilia, David Anilafa, Tony Anifiti, Martin Koto, Edward Kasute’e, Fred Wasike, Patrick Waneta, Arnold Maeluma, Calvin Do’oro, Charlie Otainao, Daniel Kuata, Elliot Ragomo, James Egeta, Anthony Talo and Willie Au.”
It is understood that with this final squad, Dawn FC will be a team to watch this season as the squad consists of seven national futsal players who settled in the third place in the SIFF President Cup early this year.
