Dear Editor – I received wonderful news last week that Dr Rodgers, the former Director General for SPC is running in the elections.
Not only is this exciting news but one which promises to bring new leadership for Solomon Islands.
Dr Rodgers will be the best candidate for Prime Minister at a time when our country needs a good leader.
The current PM has failed the country and although has good credentials he allowed himself to be misled by stupid citizens with self-serving interests and motives who are working in the PM’s Office.
Dr Rodgers will bring for our beloved country leadership that will change our fortunes.
He is a man of integrity and hardworking and will do his best for our country. He will be the best Prime Minister we’ve ever had.
The nation calls on the people of Marovo to qualify his candidacy for Prime Minister by firstly voting him into Parliament.
It would be a great gift from our people in Marovo who of course continues to produce some of the best brains for our country.
I also call on aspiring young candidates like Ishamel Avui and Jerry Manele and others to support Dr Rodgers if they won to ensure he assumes the Prime Ministership.
In doing so may I also call on senior MPs Manaseh Sogavare and Rick Hou to join up with Dr Rodgers to lead a new Government.
The next election should bring in good leaders and get rid of those self-serving individuals who are only there for their own interests.
Let’s pray for this to happen especially for Dr Rodgers to win a seat and eventually become Prime Minister.
