Dukwasi community in Central Kwara’ae, Malaita province is set to celebrate this Christmas with sporting activities.
The community is already gearing up for the event and all community members are expected to compete in various sporting activities.
The event will kick off on Sunday 25th of December 2016.
Sports activities planned for the event included men&women soccer, netball, and men&women’s volleyball, Futsal for youths and athletics for children.
The Dukwasi community games will be staged based on the theme “Working together is success.”
The event will end on Saturday 31st of December with a prize giving ceremony schedule for the New Year’s eve.
The community has a population of more than 700 people and they are currently preparing to take part in the community games.
