The Malaita Eagle Futsal team on Wednesday received a new set of uniforms ahead of the 2016 Solomon Games.
A big thanks to the visiting futsal team form Honiara Matax and Design Rights for donating the new set of uniforms.
The team’s assistance coach Danny Belo told Star Sports in Auki that the Malaita Eagle Futsal team will be using their new set of uniforms as their official wear when the National Futsal competition kicked off in the nation’s capital Honiara in the up coming Solomon games.
“We would like to thank our sponsor for the new set of uniforms and training kits,” Belo said.
He said the team is preparing well ahead of the competition, adding the team is hoping to reach the knockout stages.
He said their team is made up of home grown raw talents.
Malaita Eagel Futsal in a two match friendly played at Aligegeo over the weekend, won one match against the visiting Matax futsal club from Honiara 3-1 on Friday afternoon and lost the second friendly 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.
