TRANSPORT owners in east Malaita have praised the works of the Labour Based Project (LBP) along east road, Malaita province.
Lanour based projects (LBP) were rendered into communities by the Ministry of Infrastructure Development (MID) to clean up along the roads.
Truck drivers told this paper that they were very happy with the way community people cleaning along east road.
They were cleaning the road sides and refilling potholes.
The drivers revealed that east road from experienced is always slippery due to bushes on the road sides that sometimes dangerous especially down the hills. But seeing that they have cleaned up those grasses it will really helpful indeed.
A visited by this paper along east road last Thursday witnessed that people really working hard to clean up the raod.
They were cleaning up the road as they were cleaning their houses surroundings.
And drivers want to praise the communities and encourage the MID to render more support into those projects and into the communities.
It has really help local people who always stayed at homes.
