Athletics Solomon Easter Road Race, branded as Credit Corp/ LKP Easter Road Race challenge is set to be staged this Saturday for interested athletes in and around Honiara.
Junior Robert Anisi of the Athletics Solomon confirmed this to Star Sports yesterday.
“Athletics Solomon will host the Credit Corp/ LKP Easter Road Race challenge this Saturday,’’ Anisi said.
He also stressed, during the race Athletics Solomon will be scouting for long distance runners to represent the country for Melanesian Games to be staged in Suva, Fiji later this year.
He added, registration for the Easter Road Race challenge will be open tomorrow (Friday) for athletes to wishing contest the road race.
“Registration can be done at the Athletics Solomon’s Office at the HM Long Building at China Town,’’ he said.
“Registration fees will be $2 for children and $5 for adults,’’ he added.
Meanwhile, the race will start at the Bishops Dale to Lawson Tama Stadium on Saturday 3pm.
