HENDERSON Eels FC has made another impressive comeback defeating Central Coast FC 3-2 in the Telekom S-league mid-week catch up match at Lawson Tama, Wednesday.
Henderson Eels beat the defending champions in a thriller in Wednesday’s second catch up match.
Electrifying striker, Raphael Leai’s brace made the difference.
Eels took lead eight minutes from kick, a goal by midfielder Rodney Suri, shortly followed by Rafa’s first goal to give Eels a 2-0 lead in the first half.
Known as a game changer, Coast coach Jacob Moli led his boys into the second half more organized with Junior Fordney closing the gap giving Coast their first goal.
Before Coast could find an equalizer, Rafa extended the lead for Eels third goal three minutes before full time.
Coast also found the back of the net for the second time, a last minute goal by captain Javin Wae.
Wednesday’s opening match saw Isabel United defeat Honiara City 3-1.
