CHURCH of Melanesia’s new mothers union diocese leaders will be elected next week during their conference to be held at Saint Barnabas cathedral in Honiara.
The new leaders will be elected to serve in the diocese for three years.
Edith Koete provincial president of church of Melanesia mothers union said positions to be filled include the president, vice president and link literatures.
“They are purposely to serve as the head of departments within the dioceses of mother’s union organisation of the Church of Melanesia.”
Ms Koete said unions from the provinces are awaiting the election results.
She encouraged the mothers to choose potential candidates that will lead diligently in the organisation for the next three years.
