Managing director of Fashion De Hapi Isles has reiterated his call on all Solomon Islanders to dress decent when serving people in their offices.
Peterson Boso highlighted this during an official handing over of uniforms to the officers at maritime division and the High Court on Monday.
Mr Boso said Solomon Island should wear clean and decent clothes when serving people in offices.
“We are a tourism country where foreigners normally came into our offices daily to seek information.
“But sad to say our public relation (PR) and dressing code sometimes are unwelcoming,” Mr Boso said.
“Fiji and other pacific Island countries are beyond us because their government employees and private sectors have a good PR and dressing code stands out.
“If we want to make this country proud and lift our standard, our PR and dressing code is the key to improve.
“Therefore I encourage everyone in the country either be farmers and those in the high calibre offices to practice decent cloths and good PR to make our country like other Pacific Islands countries,” he said.
