The Minister for Ministry of Finance and Treasury (MoF) stated he will bring the full implementation report on the Economic Stimulus Package (ESP) before Parliament in early 2022.
Minister Harry Kuma highlighted this in Parliament during the Motion of Sine Die on Wednesday.
“At present the monetary program implementation is currently being done and I hope to bring the full implementation report to this honorable house in early 2022,”
The Minister stated the Economic Stimulus Package was introduced in April 2020 purposely to address the negative impacts created by Covid-19 and was focused on boosting the economy recovery process and job creation.
He added all eligible projects were funded and preliminary outcomes from the economic stimulus package should boost economy activities during the year.
He stated especially in both cocoa and copra production.
