Dear Editor – I refer to your Issue No. 694 of Tuesday 16 May on the unnecessary exorbitant rentals incurred by the MRD for its offices.
I agree with the Parliamentary Opposition that such expenditure is preventing essential government services to flow smoothly.
I am one of the cases on point.
I was a referral patient from Lata hospital.
I have since been discharged and I am waiting for my seafares to go back to Temotu. It’s now three months of waiting. There are others from the provinces like myself.
It is very frustrating and embarrassing for us to check daily without success.
Cut these unnecessary costs!
