THE woman who allegedly lied to two women and obtained over $20,000 from them will be taking her pleas to the allegation, Friday.
Loana Sisifiu will be entering her pleas to 17 counts of false pretence.
She was ready to take her pleas yesterday but the presiding Magistrate raised issues regarding the charge and the need to amend them and thus the adjournment of the pleas till today.
Principal Magistrate Elma Veenah Rizzu Hilly has ordered the prosecution to amend the charge by consolidating the charges before Friday.
This was after she looked through the charges and noticed two sets of charges and an incorrect numbering of the charges.
Sisifiu is facing charges in relation to allegations between January and April this year in Honiara that she lied to two women and obtained over $20,000 from them.
The prosecution alleged she obtained the money from the two women in various amounts on different dates for their airfares to Australia, visas, and train fares.
One of the victims also claimed the accused gave her a fake plane ticket.
The two alleged victims lodged their complaints to the police after the accused failed to fulfil her promises.
